myTaskServer - full 2-way integration & mobile option
As our most advanced product, myTaskServer offers a seamless way to communicate with your resources via emails, a smartphone application, or via their Outlook calendar or task lists.
By storing your task data in a secure cloud environment, your tasks will always be available for you, whether you're working in MS Project or on the go via our mobile application.
Our last major update of the myTaskServer system allowed project managers to fully customize the tasks they send out to their resources.
By simply selecting the necessary fields in the Field Selector, and setting up the necessary rights for the resource (hidden, read-only, or read-write), you're able to offer much more information to the resources that work for you.
Field Selector offers control over all custom fields in Microsoft Project, and a collection of built-in, often used standard fields.
After you've set up your tasks correctly, your resources will be able to view, and interact with the custom field data through our official myTaskServer mobile app:
In our latest minor update we've introduced a more robust way of detecting task changes from project & task recalculations in the background, while you work in your project.
Just keep an eye on the User Message field, where you can quickly see if a task is pending for a synchronization.
